Managing Director of NOVA COFFEE Ltd (a grower and exporter company of green coffee from Rwanda), She’s also an Accomplished Women Rights Advocator.
Very young, Agnès MUKAMUSHINJA had the privilege to accompany her agronomist father through educational and monitoring visit to the neighboring coffee farmers. Great and happy incident since then!
Shifting from the teaching career to the nursing profession, she finally returned to her destiny by devoting herself to producing quality coffee from her native region. Even she owns 2 flourishing pharmacies in Kigali City, she found “so much gratitude and exceptional satisfaction beside the women farmers in the remote rural area of Rwanda”, (she said) where, with them, they make NOVA COFFEE® a remarkable brand to engage women in a meaningfully resilient way out of isolation. Lastly, Agnès MUKAMUSHINJA brilliantly succeeded to convince as well as farmers, local authorities and business women to take part in a sustainable coffee-focused project through women participation. Although the humble step by offering young coffee trees could not move the mountains, it consisted at least in touching the heart-beating people.
Agnès MUKAMUSHINJA is married and has 4 children. She enjoys gardening and implementing environment-friendly responsible practices with her neighborhood. She adores socializing with friends around the cup of NOVA COFFEE®.
Agnès MUKAMUSHINJA makes coffee her Brown Gold way of life.
